A 33ª Mostra Internacional de Cinema em São Paulo segue atenta à diversidade cultural e à liberdade de expressão em sua seleção. A MOSTRA também promove novos diretores e às produções mais representativas do mundo. Em 2009, apresenta 424 filmes, incluindo a Competição de Novos Diretores, a Perspectiva Internacional, a Mostra Brasil, Retrospectivas e a Mostra Suécia. A arte do festival foi feita pela dupla Os Gemeos.
The 33rd Sao Paulo International Film Festival is as always attentive to the diversity and freedom of expression in its selection. The festival also promotes new filmmakers and the most representative productions from around the world. In 2009, it presents 424 films, including the New Filmmakers Competition, Mostra Brazil, Retrospectives and Mostra Sweden, a special focus on Swedish Cinema. Art made by Os Gemeos (The Twins).
