The Testament of Mr. NapomocenoVerde novelist Germano Almeida, the film follows the trajectory of Mr Napomuceno, one of the richest men in the Cape Verde Islands. There he has made his fortune and his life.When he dies, his fortune, much sought after, has a single unexpected destination: mestiza Graça, of 25 years, daughter of Napomucena with a black woman. This decision eventually reveals the secrets to the nephew, who had thought he was the sole heir to the uncle. He leaves not only the fortune but also several recordings to his daughter, in which he tells all of his life subsequent to his arrival in Cape Verde in 1928, only fifteen years old, and hence to his success as a tradesman.Little by little, he discovers the true personality of the father: a man, ambitious, intelligent, astute, opportunistic but sensitive and in love. During all of the descriptions, Graça feels more and more bound to this man, and discovers that she and her mother were the only two passions in his life.
